The good news keeps on coming for Jose Mourinho and Tottenham after Giovani Lo Celso returned to first-team training on Wednesday morning.

Lo Celso didn’t feature throughout the whole of pre-season and missed Spurs’ opening day defeat to Everton with a hamstring injured he sustained towards the end of last season.

Tottenham are training (watch live) ahead of their Europa League second qualifying round tie in Bulgaria against Lokomotiv Plovdiv on Thursday and a number of reporters noticed the return of the Argentinian, who hasn’t featured competitively since the final day draw at Crystal Palace in July.

Mourinho will speak to the press later today, where he’ll no doubt provide a full injury update on his squad before confirming whether Lo Celso is fit enough to be available for selection for the game in Bulgaria.

However, there was no sign of defender Japhet Tanganga at Hotspur Way – with the centre-back still sidelined with thigh problem he suffered in pre-season.

  1. Need him back asap.apart from Dele our only creative player.cant believe the stupidity of allowing Dele to go on loan while we carry so much dead wood get rid of Lamela. My Sissoko.Ndombele.Rose.Carter Vickers.Foyth and then maybe we can afford a real number 10 as a Dele replacement Bale if he returns is a winger.we need creativity in midfield . Lo Celso is good but will miss half of the games through injury

    • Makes you wonder, Spurs have this amazing world class training facility, yet we always have major injuries to Kane (last 2 seasons), Lamela, Lo Celso, Ndombele, and when Bale joins we all know he is Mr.Sicknote.

However, Dele is pants. he needs to go. unfortunately it looks like RM don’t want him (I understand why). Dele is too much of a spoilt brat, he won’t like being managed by Jose, and he took walked over Poch and got away with too much. Dele isn’t a spurs player. He is a liability being carried by the rest of the team.
