Tottenham survived an almighty scare before scoring twice in the final 10 minutes to come from behind and Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the second qualifying round of the Europa League.

Georgi Minchev put the Bulgarian’s in front with 19 minutes remaining before Ben Davies’ header was handled on the line which earned Spurs a penalty and saw two Plovdiv players sent off in the same incident.

Kane smashed home the resulting penalty before substitute Ndombele tapped home Lucas Moura’s cross from close-range to complete the turnaround.

  1. Very worried about this, only just beating this side is really embarrassing, god knows what would have happened without the penalty and their two players getting sent off, not looking forward to Southampton game, what is going on!!!

    • Can u just enjoy a game for what its worth. These guys have not played together. We do not have a creative mid. The closest we are going to come is to get Tanguy fit and pair him with Locelso instead of Sissoko. Then pierre can sit deep with Dier creeping up to make the pitch smaller. Sanchez is a waste. He dribbles to nowhere instead of releasing the ball to the wingback or to the holding mid them go play defence. No wonder he is always chasing his man because he wonders off into areas he has no business being in.
