Tottenham teased the announcement of the club’s latest signing with a light-hearted social media post on Friday evening.
Playfully mocking their inability to sign a striker in recent transfer windows, Spurs shared a video with the caption: “Bear with us, it’s been a while…”
The video shows somebody attempting to announce the signing of a new striker using old computer software, a dig – in jest – at the length of time it has taken for a new striker to arrive. Watch the video below.

Brazilian striker Carlos Vinicius has joined the club on a season-long loan from Benfica, per Spurs’ official website.
