Tottenham are ready to make a January move for Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik, according to reports in Italy.

Spurs were heavily linked with Milik during the recent summer transfer window. Back in January the Express claimed the Londoners were favourites to sign the 26-year-old.

However, a deal didn’t materialise and Tottenham ended up taking Carlos Vinicius on loan from Benfica with an option to buy instead.

But now it seems Spurs’ interest in Milik isn’t completely dead.

Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb claims Tottenham could make a move for the Poland international when the transfer window re-opens in January.

It is believed Everton and Roma are also keen on Milik, whose Napoli contract expires at the end of the season.

That means he could leave the Serie A club on a free transfer next summer, so his suitors could try to sign him on the cheap this winter.

While Milik would strengthen Jose Mourinho’s squad, the arrival of Vinicius surely rules out the possibility of a deal happening – Spurs simply don’t need Milik.
