Harry Kane scored his 150th Premier League in the 88th minute to earn Tottenham three crucial points against West Brom earlier on Sunday.
It what turned out to be a frustrating afternoon for Jose Mourinho’s side, they got their reward deep into the second-half when the England captain was in the right place to head home Matt Doherty’s floated cross.
The victory moved Spurs to the top of the Premier League for the first time since 2014 – although Leicester’s victory soon after saw the North Londoners drop back down to second.
But it was another landmark afternoon for second, just three days after notching his 200th goal in Tottenham colours in the Europa League on Thursday.
