Harry Winks has claimed an assist for England in their friendly against the Republic of Ireland at Wembley.
The midfielder is the only of Tottenham’s trio of Three Lions players starting – with both Eric Dier and Harry Kane on the bench, although Matt Doherty is starting in an unfamiliar left wing-back role for Ireland.
And Winks set up Harry Maguire for England’s 18th-minute opener, producing an inch-perfect cross from the right – with the Manchester United defender doing the rest from close-range.
