Seven Tottenham players were in Nations League action on Sunday.

Hugo Lloris, Sergio Regulion and Heung Min Son all featured yesterday – with the latter both chipping in with assists, although Spain could only draw with Switzerland, whilst South Korea were beaten by Mexico.

24 hours later, Joe Rodon, Ben Davies and Gareth Bale all played 90 minutes as Wales picked up a crucial three points to remain top of their group and on course for Nations League promotion ahead of their game with second-place Finland on Wednesday.

Matt Doherty also played the whole 90 minutes as Ireland slipped to their third consecutive defeat and eighth match in all competitions without winning.

Later on Sunday, Toby Alderweireld, Eric Dier and Harry Kane all started England’s 2-0 defeat to Belgium, whilst Harry Winks was a half-time substitute.

Former Spurs defenders Kyle Walker, Kieran Trippier and Jan Vertonghen were also involved as the Red Devils moved a step closer to booking their place at October’s finals.
