Hugo Lloris produced an outstanding display of fine to ensure France moved to the top of their Nations League group with victory in Portugal on Saturday night.
The Tottenham captain has been in wonderful form since the Premier League restarted post-lockdown – epitomised by one late moment in France’s 1-0 win in Lisbon.
Leading thanks to N’Golo Kante’s 53rd-minute strike, Lloris was forced to make a one-handed diving save to deny Wolves midfielder Joao Moutinho’s long-range effort from nestling into the top left-hand corner.
