It’s been exactly 11 years to the day since Tottenham produced their biggest Premier League victory ever – with Jermain Defoe scoring five.
Remarkably, Harry Redknapp’s Spurs side only led 1-0 at half-time, courtesy of Peter Crouch’s header, but Defoe ran riot by scoring a seven-minute hat-trick after half-time before netting twice more in the second-half.
Aaron Lennon, David Bentley and Niko Kranjcar also got themselves on the scoresheet as the White Hart Lane crowd were treated to a memorable after in North London.
