Forget the Premier League, is anyone playing better than Harry Kane in European football at present?
Following on from a purple-patch post-lockdown, the England captain has taken his game to another level at the beginning of the 2020-2021 campaign.
His assist for Giovani Lo Celso’s goal in Saturday’s win over Manchester City was his 16th goal contribution in 10 matches – the most by any player at this stage in Premier League history.
But there was one moment that just epitomised everything about Kane right now.
With Spurs leading 2-0 deep into the second-half, the Tottenham striker showed incredible energy levels to run almost half the length of the pitch before winning a foul off Ruben Dias.
Watch the moment below, accompanied by some wonderful words from Sky Sports’ Gary Neville.
