Tottenham recorded their fourth Premier League victory on the bounce following a 2-0 win over Man City on Saturday.
A goal in each half from Heung Min Son and Giovani Lo Celso was enough for Jose Mourinho’s side to climb above Chelsea and back to the top of the table ahead of their clash at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
There were a number of impressive performers for Spurs – with Eric Dier, Serge Aurier and Harry Kane all catching the eye against Pep Guardiola’s side.
But summer signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was his usual reliable self in north London.
Hojbjerg once again protected the back-four superbly, and even had a helping hand in Son’s opener – with his quick-thinking finding Tanguy Ndombele, who then found the South Korean.
