Late on Thursday night, Jose Mourinho revealed himself as the winner of the Manager of the Month award for November before the Premier League had the chance to do so.
After beating Royal Antwerp in the Europa League, Mourinho posted a video on Instagram with the caption ‘Special November’. The video is a clip of an interview in which he is reacting to being named Manager of the Month.
Mourinho gathered all of his coaching staff and played down the ‘manager’ aspect of the award, instead crediting his team for their hard work last month.
