Tottenham slipped to their first Premier League defeat since the opening day of the season following their 2-1 loss at Liverpool on Wednesday.
Having seen Heung Min Son cancel out Mohammed Salah’s deflected opener, Roberto Firmino headed home in stoppage-time to send Jurgen Klopp’s men top.
However, there were still a number of positive for Tottenham despite the defeat – one of which being the performance of Serge Aurier.
The Ivory Coast right-back appeared on his way out of Spurs after the summer signing of Matt Doherty from Wolves, but Aurier has worked his way back into Jose Mourinho’s first XI and was handed a fifth consecutive start on Merseyside.
Check some of his best bits from the game below.
Aurier vs Liverpool. Great performance from him yesterday, has come leaps and bounds from last season. Dealt with Mane well too. #THFC #COYS pic.twitter.com/7FfWgsFLw3
