Tottenham are expected to terminate Troy Parrott’s season-long loan with Millwall, according to Football Insider.
Having suffered ankle and quad injuries respectively since moving to The Den, the 18-year-old has struggled for form with the Lions – failing to score in his nine Millwall appearances.
Since returning from a muscle problem in November, Parrott has been involved in eight of their previous nine matches, making five starts, although the striker has managed three shots on target during that period, which means he’s still waiting for his first senior goal.
And Football Insider believe that Jose Mourinho’s team are planning on recalling Parrott when the January window opens, which means he could have played his final game for the Lions after their festive games against Bournemouth and Watford were recently postponed due to COVID-19 cases in the squad.
The report always suggests that upon his return to Spurs, the teenager could be loaned back out in the New Year.
