Tottenham’s starting line-up for today’s Premier League meeting with Leeds United has been confirmed.

Giovani Lo Celso, Erik Lamela and Sergio Reguilon are all absent from the XI after the trio were the subject of a club statement (via the Athletic’s Charlie Eccleshare) shortly before the team news was announced.

All three were pictured at a gathering over Christmas, leading Spurs to “strongly condemn” their behaviour.

Lo Celso was injured anyway and so was always unlikely to play a part, but Reguilon is on the bench, which means Ben Davies keeps his spot at left-back.

The rest of the XI is familiar, although it is perhaps surprising to see Harry Winks stay in the team ahead of Moussa Sissoko. Steven Bergwijn starts for the first time since the defeat at Liverpool.

As mentioned by Jose Mourinho in his press conference on Friday, Lucas Moura and Carlos Vinicius are fit enough to return to the bench. Dele Alli is also among the substitutes.
