Tottenham ran out 3-0 winners against Leeds United in the Premier League on Saturday thanks to goals from Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Toby Alderweireld.
Here’s how every Spurs player rated on the day.
Hugo Lloris, 6 – Didn’t have many meaningful saves to make. A calming presence.
Matt Doherty, 6 – Capable at the back and was perhaps unfortunate to receive a second yellow card at the death.
Toby Alderweireld, 7 – Scored the important third goal to settle the nerves and was strong defensively.
Eric Dier, 7 – Mirrored Alderweireld with a solid defensive display.
Ben Davies, 6 – Barely got forward but didn’t make any slip-ups at the back.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, 8 – Excellent sweeping up in front of the back four. Started plenty of attacks, too.
Harry Winks, 6 – Got Spurs going on the counter but was often wasteful with his final ball.
Tanguy Ndombele, 7 – Really tricky in the final third before eventually tiring in the second half.
Steven Bergwijn, 6 – Won the penalty and got into good goalscoring positions. Just feels like he needs to convert a chance.
Son Heung-min, 7 – Took his goal brilliantly and took the corner for the third goal. Otherwise quiet.
Harry Kane, 8 – A goal, an assist and some really useful hold-up play from the talisman.
Substitutes
Moussa Sissoko, N/A – Kept things simply after replacing Winks.
Lucas Moura, N/A – Came on for Ndombele but didn’t do much.
Carlos Vinicius, N/A – A late arrival to give Kane a breather.
