Turkish outfit Trabzonspor are interested in trying to convince Tottenham defender Danny Rose to make the switch to the Super Lig, according to Sky Sports.
Rose’s contract in north London expires at the end of the season, and it’s approaching 12 months since the England left-back last featured for Spurs.
The 30-year-old, who’ll no doubt still have aspirations of making Gareth Southgate’s squad for next summer’s European Championships, spent the second-half of last season on loan at Newcastle United, where he featured 13 times in all competitions.
But following that loan spell at St James’ Park, Rose returned to Tottenham, although he was left out of their Premier League squad by Jose Mourinho, and has been training away from the first-team this season, which has led to a couple of Under-23s appearances.
However, it appears that the defender’s 13-year stay at Spurs is drawing to a close – with Trabzonspor keen on signing the former Leeds United man this month.
