Tottenham youngster Harvey White has joined Portsmouth on loan.

The 19-year-old midfielder, who was handed his full Spurs debut during the recent FA Cup victory over Non-League outfit Marine, will continue his development on the South Coast by spending the remainder of the current season on loan at Fratton Park.

White has been training with Jose Mourinho’s first-team squad for a number of months, but only made his senior debut during the Europa League game with Ludogorets in November.

However, the teenager hasn’t been involved in a single Premier League matchday squad, and is in desperate need of regular football in order to continue impressing Jose Mourinho.

Portsmouth are currently right in the mix for promotion, and White will be hoping to make his Pompey debut against either AFC Wimbledon this evening or against Hull on Saturday.

White becomes the third youngster to be loaned out this month, following Jubril Okedina to Cambridge United and more recently, Jack Clarke to Stoke City.
