Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez is attracting interest from his former club, Ajax, according to reports in the Netherlands.
Sanchez joined Spurs from Ajax in the summer of 2017 and has had highs and lows during his time at club. He was a regular starter for long spells under Mauricio Pochettino but would often be on the bench as a stand-in for the more consistent Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen.
That story has continued under Mourinho, who initially appeared to like Sanchez but has dropped him more than once this season. The Colombian is given another chance every few weeks but rarely takes it.
And now it seems Sanchez’s future at the club could in doubt, with his ex-employers reportedly set to test Tottenham’s resolve.
Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, as relayed by Football Oranje, claims Ajax have enquired about taking Sanchez this month, though it is believed Spurs are unwilling to let him leave in the current transfer window.
Of course, that doesn’t mean Ajax’s interest will end. We think there is a good chance Tottenham will sell if they receive an appropriate offer in the summer.
Let Davinson go as well as Lamela and Aurier too
Spurs always too slow to sign new players that is Spurs typical !! Always sign at last minute which is not good idea
Spurs should get Adama Trore in place of Lamela
Would love to see grealish to take place of Dele
