Jose Mourinho has named his starting XI for Tottenham’s London derby against Chelsea on Thursday evening.

Spurs can climb to sixth and just four points adrift of fourth-placed Liverpool with a victory, although they must do it without a number of key players as Sergio Regulion, Giovani Lo Celso, Dele Alli and Harry Kane are still out injured for the visit of Thomas Tuchel’s men.

Mourinho has ditched the back-three, and has named Toby Alderweireld and Eric Dier as the two centre-backs, whilst Ben Davies keeps his place in the more comfortable role of left-back – with Serge Aurier, who was left out against Brighton, recalled to the starting XI.

Moussa Sissoko is back in midfield alongside Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Tanguy Ndombele – with Heung Min Son and Steve Bergwijn supporting Carlos Vinicius, who is finally handed his full Premier League debut, in attack.

  1. Another superb high energy defensive display in the first half by spurs. Another mistake by the mistake king Eric dier. Funny thing is other than that he was ok which is not saying much. Hope for something in the second half.
