Tottenham might not be having a great time of it at the moment, but at least Ryan Sessegnon’s development appears to be going well in Germany.
The left-back returned from injury and came on as a late substitute in Hoffenheim’s 4-0 Bundesliga victory over Werder Bremen at the weekend.
As pointed out by Reddit user yikyikhuoyik, Sessegnon actually came on at right wing-back for the final few minutes of the game – but he still managed to make a big contribution.
A Bremen consolation goal seemed certain until Sessegnon rushed back and intercepted brilliantly with a wonderful piece of last-ditch defending. Watch below.
Lets ignore what happened yesterday, and have a look at how great Sessrgnon is doing at hoffenhiem. In his first game back from injury, he was subbed on as RWB at 86:30. He Stops a goal at 87.20, and then Sets a goal up at 89.30. from r/coys
