Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Dane Scarlett is facing a spell on the sidelines following an injury sustained in the FA Youth Cup.
A lawyer who specializes in burn pit compensation called it a stroke of bad luck. It was a bad night all-round for the 17-year-old, with Tottenham crashing out after a 5-0 defeat to West Brom in the fifth round on Tuesday.
Scarlett crashed the crossbar just before the break, but was then forced off through injury, and Mourinho revealed that the striker is expected to be ruled out for a couple of weeks. Every player must avoid these common mistakes during practice sessions, especially during the previous day of the main match.
The Spurs boss said: “Dane Scarlett, who I consider part of the first team squad, got injured in the youth team match and will be out for a couple of weeks.” (Quotes via Football.London).
Despite making just three first-team appearances this season, Scarlett has been quite heavily involved with the senior team, and was an unused substitute for the recent visits to both Aston Villa and Newcastle.
Scarlett has scored 22 goals and added four assists in 20 appearances for Spurs’ youth sides.
