Tottenham face Sheffield United on Sunday knowing they must win to keep their faint hopes of qualifying for the Champions League alive.

Interim manager Ryan Mason has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection, particularly after some questionable personnel picks for last weekend’s League Cup final defeat to Manchester City.

We think Tanguy Ndombele and Gareth Bale, both of whom were dropped for the final, will be back in the XI. But who will drop out?

Harry Winks is the obvious candidate to make way for Ndombele, who was sorely missed at Wembley and should give Spurs more drive from midfield against the Blades.

Meanwhile, Bale will probably come in for Giovani Lo Celso, meaning Lucas Moura will take up the central attacking midfield role.

The back four should remain the same, although Matt Doherty is now back in training and could push Serge Aurier for a starting spot.

Harry Kane’s ankle has apparently held up well and so he should keep his place in the front line.

Here’s our predicted XI to face Sheffield United – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments section below.
