Troy Parrott is set to be loaned out once again next season, according to Football.London.
The teenage striker endured an substandard campaign for Millwall and Ipswich in the Championship and League One in what was his first taste of regular first-team football, scoring just twice across 32 appearances.
The second of those came in Ipswich’s final-day victory over Fleetwood last weekend, but Parrott has generally been disappointing in the EFL, and Football.London believe that he’ll be given another opportunity to impress out on loan next term.
Parrott initially joined Millwall on loan for the season, but an ankle problem stalled his progress, and was recalled by Spurs after failing to find the net in 14 outings for the Lions.
He was immediately loaned back out to Ipswich, although he once again didn’t live up to expectations at Portman Road, scoring twice in 14 games.
Parrott is now expected to return to Tottenham, and will be hoping to be involved in pre-season before waiting to find out what happens with the new manager.
