Tottenham face Wolves on Sunday knowing anything but three points will end their pursuit of a top-four finish.

Last weekend’s defeat at Leeds was a huge blow to Spurs’ slim chances of qualifying for the Champions League, and another loss would all but end those chances completely.

With that in mind, Ryan Mason has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection. Will he change things in response to the collapse at Elland Road, or will be persevere with the same 11 players?

We think it will be an unchanged team, with Dele Alli and Gareth Bale getting the nod in attack again despite being substituted midway through the second half against Leeds.

Spurs need to take the game to Wolves, so there is no need sacrifice the attacking threat of Bale and Alli for players who are more likely to track back.

Tanguy Ndombele will likely be on the bench again, with Giovani Lo Celso partnering Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in central midfield.

Ben Davies is the only injury absentee.

Here’s our predicted XI to face Wolves – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments section below.

  1. Why on earth is Rodon not playing instead of Dier who had cost Spurs so many goals this season, whil Rodon has looked much more like a centre half when he has played.

  2. It would be madness to play Dier again, if Mason does go with Dier, he’ll never become a manager. He needs to put friendships aside and realise that Dier is just not good enough. Rodon should get a chance, even Sanchez is better than Dier. As for LoCelso, he’d be dropped too and I’d play Ndombele in his place.

  3. Like Tony and Ian have said dier should be back on the bench for the last three games but friendship and the fact Mason is a levy puppy he will play I’m guessing. The sooner the season is over the better. I fear what new levy puppy will take over. Here are a list of the players I would sell or swap out in the summer. Dier, Toby, Sanchez, aurier, Doherty, lamela, winks, sissoko, foyth and alli. All are either not good enough don’t put in enough effort or in Toby case getting too old.

  4. Mason says that Roden is 4th in the pecking order he’s either picking the team on who are his mates or he hasn’t a clue Roden Ndombele and Lucas Maura should be starting especially Lucas who has been our best player in most matches he has played

  5. We all know creativity is lacking. We all know central defence is slow so why not give Tanguey and Rodon and Scarlett the chance , they cant doi worse even Cirkin at left back because though I love his attacking I dont think Regullion is a great defender. Wing back maybe

  6. Agree, Dier has cost us so many points this season and I’m also disappointed in Mason’s team selection so far!!

  7. Dier should be dropped. To slow, ball watching and hand waving all the time. Passing to players when they are well marked. Overrated player. Lo celso is not fit. Losing to many balls. Ndombele a better option. I be ready to play with 10 men and not play aurier. Thats how bad he”s been.
