Tottenham have confirmed the departures of Paulo Gazzaniga and Danny Rose.
Rose ends his 14-year stay at the club following the conclusion of his contract, although he hasn’t played a first-team match for almost 18 months having spent the whole of last season training with the Under-23s which came after he was loaned out to Newcastle in January 2019.
The left-back made more than 200 appearances for Spurs, playing a key part in the team that reached the Champions League final and was one of Mauricio Pochettino’s great success stories.
Meanwhile, Argentine Gazzaniga departs after four seasons, having been mainly used as back-up for both Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm, although was a regular when the Frenchman was out injured last season, making 25 of his 37 Spurs appearances.
Gazzaniga’s final outing for Tottenham came against Wolves last March, with the addition of Joe Hart seeing him slip further down the pecking order, eventually forcing him join La Liga side Elche on loan.
