Harry Kane refused to comment on whether Mauricio Pochettino’s potential return to Tottenham could see his remain in north London when quizzed in a recent interview.
The England captain wants to leave Spurs this summer to fulfil his ambition of winning major trophies and regularly playing in the Champions League, with Tottenham failing to qualify for the second season on the bounce.
Kane has reached three major cup finals, including the 2019 Champions League final, but has always fallen short and recently told Gary Neville about wanting an “honest conversation” with Daniel Levy about his future.
Meanwhile, Spurs have been in talks with the Argentine over a possible return to the club, although PSG remain adamant that Pochettino won’t be leaving the French capital, and is already planning towards next season.
Pochettino’s potential return begged the question whether Kane, who’s had interest from Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea, could be convinced by his former boss to stay at Tottenham for one further season.
But when asked about the topic in an interview with ES Magazine, relayed by the Evening Standard, Kane simply said:” No comment.”
