Mauricio Pochettino wants to revisit his interest in signing Dele Alli this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

PSG were keen on loaning the Tottenham attacking midfielder back in January, but chairman Daniel Levy blocked the move with Jose Mourinho unable to sign a replacement

Alli had found himself down the pecking order under Mourinho, and by that point in the window, had started just one Premier League game all season – the opening-day defeat to Everton.

The 25-year-old’s fortunes would change following the arrival of Ryan Mason, but Romano, speaking on YouTube (17:50), believes that Pochettino is still interested in signing Alli, who he bought to Tottenham from MK Dons back in January 2015 for just £5m.

Whilst it’s been a testing coupling of seasons for the midfielder, Alli is still Spurs’ only recognised creative player, and we believe that unless someone breaks the bank for him, it would be a major mistake to let him go.
