Tottenham have enquired about the availability of Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto, according to 90 Min.

Neto has scored eight goals across his first two Premier League seasons with Wolves, including five goals in 35 appearances last term.

His campaign was ended prematurely by a knee injury, but before that he was one of the most impressive performers for a club outside the top six or seven.

And it seems those displays have attracted admiring glances from some of Europe’s big boys.

90 Min claims Tottenham, Liverpool, Juventus and others have all enquired about Neto, and Wolves are said to be considering whether or not to cash in on the Portugal international this summer.

That said, the report says only a ‘huge offer’ would tempt Wolves into selling.

New Spurs manager Nuno Espirito Santo obviously knows Neto well having successfully coached him for Wolves, so the 21-year-old would probably settle in quickly.

However, if he’s going to be expensive then this one is unlikely to happen – Tottenham have spent relatively big on a winger in Bryan Gil, who arrived from Sevilla on Monday.

  1. 90min is a two bit media ? Who speculate with no end evidence, they put two and two together and come up with ten.

  2. Makes no sense. Spurs have Son, Sess and now Gill. Why will they blow big money on Neto when they are huffing and puffing to land Romero and with Toby gone and Sanchez likely to go need to ship in 1 more CB, a RB, a CM & a bkup striker to Kane if not a Kane replacement.
