Tottenham have confirmed the signing of Cristian Romero from Atalanta.
Argentine defender Romero becomes the club’s third summer arrival after goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini and winger Bryan Gil.
After the official announcement, Spurs posted a short video message from Romero to the fans.
The centre-back thanked the supporters for their messages in recent days, saying: “You wanted me here and here I am!”

Of course, Romero isn’t the only Tottenham player to have addressed the fans today.
