Tottenham are set to meet with the agent of Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic on Tuesday amid talk of possible transfer, according to reports in Italy.
On Monday, Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web claimed Atletico Madrid are currently leading the race to sign Vlahovic – who scored 21 goals in Serie A last season – having made the most attractive bid to Fiorentina so far, thought to be around €70 million.
However, the report goes on to say that Darko Ristic – Vlahovic’s agent – will meet with Spurs and Inter Milan on Tuesday to determine whether those clubs see a deal as realistic.
The story comes as Tottenham have reportedly (via The Times) agreed a fee with Inter for striker Lautaro Martinez, which is relevant information when it comes to Vlahovic.
If Inter are keen on Vlahovic, perhaps that will make them more likely to sell Martinez to Spurs – but, in truth, there is no real indication as to whether that will happen.
In any case, it seems Tottenham are definitely interested in strengthening up front – let’s just hope it doesn’t take the entire month to get somebody in (spoiler: it probably will).
As much as I would like to see Martinez at spurs, I think lNTER are just trying to get more money from the transfer, lm hoping Levy is wise enough “ as he has proven, in the past”, not to fall for these insane tactics, in play across Europe.
That why we don’t get the players we want, Villa took 1 days to buy Ings, City took 3 days to sign Grealish, we took a month to sign Romero, what does that tell you
It tells me you base the inner workings of transfers on whether or not you’ve heard about it in the media, not the brightest approach. If you actually believe that Villa took one day to sign Ings then you are beyond help. Not exactly sure what your point is? You say we don’t get the players we want, but then use a player we have signed to support your argument, very odd.
Comment:as spurs can you sign Bernardo from city
If Harry Kane’s not ready for Sunday’s match and we haven’t signed a striker we will be starting the season without an out and out striker, how can Daniel Levy let this happen to a club like Spurs, what sort of way is that to run a club, no wonder this club has won nothing under Levy’s leadership, it’s a complete joke. Levy, ENIC and tight fisted Lewis OUT !!!!
If if if…..have a day off, it’s very repetitive and quite dull.
