Tottenham will aim to continue their 100% start to the Premier League season when they face Wolves on Sunday, and Nuno Espirito Santo has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection against his former club.

In his press conference on Friday, the Spurs boss suggested Harry Kane could play a part this weekend but Tanguy Ndombele has been left out of the squad after reportedly asking to leave the club.

Despite Kane’s potential availability, we think Nuno will go with the exact same line-up that started in the victory over Manchester City on the opening day of the new campaign.

That means, Hugo Lloris will again be protected by a back four of Japhet Tanganga, Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez and Sergio Reguilon. Cristian Romero probably isn’t quite ready to start league games.

In midfield, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will be partnered by Oliver Skipp. Dele Alli will join them as part of a trio but might be given a bit more licence to join attacks against Wolves.

Son Heung-min will be supported by Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn, who will hopefully get among the goals. Kane should be on the bench.

Here’s our predicted XI to face Wolves – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments section below.

  1. Lloris. Tanganga,Romero,Dier,Reguillon
    Hojbjerg,Skipp. Moura,Alli
    Kane and Son
    Subs. Gollini Davies Sanchez
    Gil,Bergwyn Docherty and Sessegnon.

No need to worry about Jimenez and Kane will have to play at some time if only to prove his value to either the Mancs or Spurs or indeed England.

  2. Particia new Director is not good enough how many did he get new players in 10 weeks ????
    To me
    Lloris
    Tanguy Romero Dier Regullion
    Hjorjberg Skipp Ali
    Moura Kane Son
Spurs still really need new central Defender in.place of Dier and new striker to support Kane or in place of him

    • It is Paratici. It is the second game. Not sure why we would not start the same winning team. Some article are simply waste of time. We see Kane come in on many occasions and screw up a good flowing team. Do not get me wrong he is the man, but sometimes he needs to be worked back into the team by coming off the bench.
