Tottenham’s disastrous international break has taken another turn for the worse after Oliver Skipp hobbled out of England U21s game with Kosovo.
A knock picked up in training already ruled Ryan Sessegnon out of the game at Stadium MK, whilst Heung Min Son sustained a calf problem in training on Monday which forced him to withdraw from the South Korea squad for their victory over Lebanon on Tuesday.
Nuno Espirito Santo is already without South American trio Davinson Sanchez, Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso for the trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday, and could now be without Skipp, who sustained a groin injury in the closing stages for the Young Lions.
Saturday’s trip to Palace begins a run of seven games in just 22 days in all competitions until the next international break, including London derbies with both Chelsea and Arsenal, which means the Tottenham boss will be hoping that those three injuries aren’t serious.
