Tottenham travel to Rennes on Thursday as their Europe Conference League group stage campaign gets underway in France.
With several injury concerns ahead of the tie, Nuno Espirito Santo might be forced into naming a stronger side than he would have liked.
South American trio Davinson Sanchez, Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso all remain out, whilst the Spurs boss has already confirmed that Eric Dier, Ryan Sessegnon and Heung Min Son haven’t travelled.
But in better news, Santo said that Steven Bergwijn is with the squad and in contention to play after missing the defeat to Crystal Palace.
With think that Japhet Tanganga will be the only survivor from the back four that started in south London, with Matt Doherty, Joe Rodon and Ben Davies all coming into the starting XI.
Int midfield, Tanguy Ndombele is in line to make his first appearance of the season after returning to the bench at Palace and should provide Tottenham with some much-needed creativity ahead of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Harry Winks.
The exciting Bryan Gil should come back into the side and join Bergwijn and Harry Kane in attack.
Here’s our predicted XI to face Rennes – Gollini, Doherty, Tanganga, Rodon, Davies, Hojbjerg, Winks, Ndombele, Gil, Bergwijn, Kane.

At least Winks 5 yards of extreme brilliance will be ending at Ndombele feet.
Are we sure it’s not misspelt? Plays like Harry Wanks. Crap, get rid!
Save the cynicism until after the game. I sometimes think we get what we deserve like some self fulfilling prophesy!!!!
