Spurs will look to cash-in on midfielder Dele Alli next summer, according to Football Insider.

The 25-year-old has won his place back under Nuno Espirito Santo following his problems under Jose Mourinho, starting every Premier League match this season.

However, Alli, who was hauled off at half-time and replaced by Oliver Skipp in the north London derby on Sunday, has scored just once and struggled to build after a promising start, with his WhoScored rating a poor 6.65 – putting him eighth in the Spurs squad.

He did provide an assist for Harry Kane in the Carabao Cup victory over Wolves last week, but has failed to make much of an impact in his new deeper midfield role.

Alli has been linked away in recent windows, most notably to PSG last January, soon after Mauricio Pochettino replaced Thomas Tuchel in the French capital.

Football Insider don’t expect that to be the case this January, but believe that Alli’s Spurs career could to an end next summer, more than seven years after he joined from MK Dons.

  1. Defenitly Ali must go as I have said before that he should be sold before season starts
He is no longer attacking midfielder.
Spurs really need 2 attacking midfielders to create and give Harry Kane opportunity

  2. Ali wasnt useless today, he is useless everyday. Just a poor player. Why is he still in team? Sell Kane FFS? We should be keeping him & Son , Rodon will be ok , but almost everyone else are not good enough to play for Spurs. Kane isnt too good for Spurs , he is the required standard.. Tampa Tile Floors
