Tottenham are interested in signing Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, according to reports in Italy.
Brozovic, who has made 250 appearances across all competitions for Inter since joining the club from Dinamo Zagreb in 2015, has entered the final year of his contract.
And Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport claims the 28-year-old could be on the move as he is having doubts about extending his deal at San Siro.
The report, as relayed by Sport Witness, says both Spurs and Manchester United are interested in bringing Brozovic to the Premier League next summer.
That said, Inter are thought to be hopeful the Croatia international will sign a new contract and stay put.
Whether Tottenham will strengthen in central midfield next term probably depends on the future of Tanguy Ndombele.
If the Frenchman settles this season, Spurs may see no need to bring in another midfielder – though if Brozovic is available for free, perhaps the Londoners will make a move regardless.
In fact, it could be argued that Tottenham need reinforcements regardless of Ndombele’s future.
