Tottenham could make a move for Belgian starlet Charles De Ketelaere in January, according to reports in Italy.

De Ketelaere, a 20-year-old striker, has played in each of Club Brugge’s four Champions League games this season and already has two senior caps for the Belgian national side.

And Italian outlet Calcio Mercato believes the youngster could be a Spurs player come January.

The report claims De Ketelaere is attracting interest from AC Milan but Tottenham and Antonio Conte will ‘try to snatch’ him away from the competition in the winter transfer window.

De Ketelaere has scored five goals in 14 league appearances so far this term but is yet to find the net in the Champions League.

The talent is clearly there, though, and a move to a big European club could be all he needs to explode onto the scene.

And Spurs could certainly do with more numbers up front, with Harry Kane currently the only senior centre-forward in the squad.

As for the reliability of the link: we’re likely to see more and more reports concerning Tottenham coming out of Italy because of the presence of Conte and Fabio Paratici – so there could be some truth to this one.

  1. Great signing if we do get him, but Conte has a history of signings for the here and now.
This is a young player with enormous potential but not a player that fits the profile of a usual Conte sugning

  2. Yes a young player with great potential but I hope if we get him he dosnt fade into the background like some of our younger talents at spurs with previous managers.
