Ryan Sessegnon is expected to return to training this week and could be available to face Leeds on Sunday, according to Sky Sports.
The 21-year-old has made just two Europa Conference League appearances for Tottenham this term having suffered a hamstring injury whilst on international duty with England U21s in September.
Sessegnon has missed 13 games across all competitions, but Sky Sports believe that the former Fulham man will be back on the grass at Hotspur Way late this week and could be in contention to make his first Premier League appearance since January 2020 this weekend.
His Tottenham career is yet to get going since he signed for £25m from Fulham two years ago and he failed to make a single league appearance under Nuno Espirito Santo.
But Sessegnon’s return is a timely boost for Antonio Conte, especially with Tottenham in Conference League action in Slovenia on Thursday week, which could allow the Italian to rest some of his first-team players.
