Tottenham’s hopes of returning to action have been handed a boost after Antonio Conte was back on the training pitches with his players on Sunday.

A Covid-19 outbreak in the first-team squad saw their Europa Conference League tie with Rennes on Thursday and Premier League clash with Brighton today both postponed.

As a result, their Hotspur Way training complex was closed, which put their trip to Leicester on Thursday in serious doubt.

However, according to the Daily Mail, Conte was back in Enfield earlier today putting his squad through doubt sessions as they look to make up for lost time and get back on track.

Hotspur Way hasn’t officially reopened, but the report believes that should happen later this week, providing there’s no setbacks.

Sami Mokbel continued by saying that the game against Leicester in four days time ‘should be okay’ following the two recent postponements before Alasdair Gold confirmed the news.
