Tottenham face West Ham United in what should be an entertaining EFL Cup quarter-final on Wednesday, and Antonio Conte has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

There will be a temptation to go with the exact same line-up that started in Sunday’s thrilling draw against Liverpool, in which just about everyone played well, but Conte will know he must rotate at least a little bit ahead of a busy festive fixture schedule.

That’s why we think there will three changes to the XI we saw at the weekend. One will be enforced – Conte revealed on Tuesday that Ryan Sessegnon is injured, so he will be replaced by Sergio Reguilon.

On the opposite flank, Matt Doherty may get a rare opportunity to impress in place of Emerson Royal, who struggled a bit defensively against Liverpool. And in the middle of the park, Oliver Skipp could come back in for Tanguy Ndombele.

Harry Winks and Dele Alli should be given an opportunity to keep up their momentum by staying in the team, though Giovani Lo Celso, Steven Bergwijn and Lucas Moura will all be pushing for starts.
