Harry Kane will wait until the end of the season to make a decision about staying at Tottenham, according to the London Evening Standard.
The striker was heavily linked with a move to Manchester City last summer but Spurs refused to sell.
After a difficult start to the season, Kane appears to be close to his best form again thanks to the impact of Antonio Conte.
Indeed, the Standard says Kane is a ‘huge admirer’ of Conte, and the degree to which the Italian is backed in the transfer market next summer could affect Kane’s future at the club.
The report says there are presently no talks over a new deal for the 28-year-old, who will have two years remaining on his current deal come the end of the campaign.
And so the success of the transfer window could determine whether Kane stays put or leaves for pastures new.
Whether City are still keen on the England captain is unknown, but they will surely think they will be able to get Kane for cheaper than last summer, given his contract situation.
In any case, let’s just hope Kane starts firing more consistently to improve Tottenham’s chances of qualifying for the Champions League.
If Harry has any sense of he will get out of the club in the summer. The The club is going backwards under enic. Massive long term debts against the court club not enic. Going backwards in the league despite one of the best managers in the world. Little organised by no investment by enic sorry none by enic. Terrible scouting of players with not enough checks being done done. This was shown with our most expensive buy a check of his family history would have shown health problems. Also beating City to him tells you something they knew we didn’t.
Harry if you want to ever win anything get out now because spurs are not going to win under enic.
