Tottenham are interested in Southampton star Tino Livramento and could offer a player in exchange for the full-back, according to reports in Italy.
Livramento joined Southampton from Chelsea last summer and has been one of the standout right-backs in the Premier League so far this season.
Italian outlet Calcio Mercato claims his form has caught the attention of Spurs, who are prepared to include a player in a possible move for Livramento.
The report suggests Tottenham could use Cameron Carter-Vickers – the centre-back currently on loan at Celtic – or Harry Winks in a part-exchange deal.
There is no indication as to whether Southampton would want a large fee on top of a player in exchange, but it’s probably likely.
Spurs need to strengthen on the right flank, with Emerson Royal disappointing since arriving from Barcelona.
That said, Matt Doherty is finally fulfilling his potential, though whether he can keep up his improved form over the coming weeks is another conversation.
In any case Tottenham require an upgrade on Doherty, and Livramento fits the bill – it will be interesting to see if the Londoners make the kind of offer proposed by Calcio Mercato.

Don’t for one minute believe there will be an exchange. Exchanges in the past have always been speculated upon but never materialize. Expect somebody to pony up cash only, that’s the only way this gets done.
