Tottenham are close to completing the signing of Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier, and the club apparently wants to bring in two more players before Thursday night’s deadline.

That’s according to Sky Sports journalist Lyall Thomas, who has been reliable on a number of Spurs transfer stories over the last few weeks.

Tottenham have been heavily linked with a late bid for Ross Barkley. They have already confirmed the signings of defenders Davinson Sanchez and Juan Foyth.

Aurier is close to joining the club for around £23 million after the UK Home Office granted the right-back a work permit.

  1. Push Aurier deal quickly now work permit sorted…b4 Man Utd step in. Dont want another Willian situ.
We are linked with Andre Gomez from Barca and tussling with … Hammers?? If we cant do West Ham over a quality signing then we need shooting. Also Arsenal pushing for Draxler? Why cant we jump in on that?
Strikers…rumours re Llorente…? Even Celtic’s Dembele? Who knows with DL deals..come on Daniel give us a few surprises like with that Van De Vaart deal!!!

  2. Don’t want Barclay. Often goes missing after 60 minutes and thinks he is better than he is. Hasn’t improved in 5 years.

  3. sent vincent on loan to monaco for improvements one year.
Tottenham must put a buy back clauses in vincent Janssen loan deal.
    of 20 million.

if he becomes a hit in monaco we will get him back or else Manchester United or Chelsea will try to buy top form Janssen.

  4. 1) Need trucky/pacey midfield player who can beat 2 men in 10yds. Especially as teams sit back against us.
    2) Need a Kane from 3 yrs ago 🙂

Aurier is surely last defender we are buying. Remember goals are required to…

What ever happened to Lamela? Has anyone actually found out what all the mystery was…?

  5. Celtic’s Dembele for me thats what spurs need to try for they should have said yes 2 years ago to fulhams request to a loan back that was a goolie dropped

    • “Hindsight is a wonderful thing but foresight is better” … notwitstanding … Couldn’t have said it better myself! 😉
