While we know that this is almost certainly a non-starter, particularly if Harry Redknapp stays at the club, it’s interesting to see a number of Premiership sides being linked with Kevin Prince-Boateng this week.

KPB was at the club between 2007 and 2009 and despite his undoubted promise, failed to make an impact. It wasn’t just Spurs where he failed to excel however as he went on to a largely unsuccessful spell at Portsmouth where his most memorable contributions came in the 2010 cup final when he missed a penalty and put Michael Ballack out of the World Cup.

Since then however, he has been earning praise in Italy while at AC Milan. There is however concern over his fragility but that may not put Manchester United off.

OK, so it’s never going to happen but Spurs will be linked with worse players this summer than Kevin Prince-Boateng.

  1. i rated him and thought he was good at portsmouth doesnt quite have the skill as van Der vart but is stronger younger better in the air and could fill that position nicely for spurs but like you said it will never happen. He cracked the shits at spurs cause we wouldnt give him a chance at his best position

  2. One that got away… Gio is going down the same road (but taking the scenic route).

Another waste of good young talent at WHL.

  3. Historically spurs is fameous for players failing to make an impact at the club but they flourish at other clubs. One of those players was GRAHAM Souness.
