Today In Spurs History: April 8th
1901 – Tottenham beat West Bromwich Albion 4-0 in the FA Cup semi-final, with ‘Sandy’ Brown scoring all four goals. Southern League Spurs would beat Sheffield United in the final.
1967 – Spurs are lucky to force a goalless draw away at Birmingham, after it appeared that Pat Jennings had dropped the ball over the line for a late goal. Tottenham would win the replay at White Hart Lane and go on to win the cup.

The Sun reports that we will see Peter Crouch’s robot dance again if he scores in the World Cup final. In which case, we almost certainly won’t be seeing it again.
They also feature Theo Walcott, who states that the Arse will take out their frustrations on Tottenham. Rubbish. If Messi can score four against them we might lose count of the goals that Bale will score.
