Yes, we have just beat the champions of Europe and are now wandering around in a strange mist of euphoric hangover, but let us not forget what it feels like to be a loser.

Our Italian opponents are not feeling on top of the world this morning and will have no desire to watch Sky Sports News all day to see Gareth Bale rip their right back to shreds again and again and again…

As Spurs fans, failure is a taste that is never far from our lips and so I imagine that you will all be sympathetic towards the heartbroken Italian TV pundit, who appeared on a far more animated version of Soccer Saturday.

Heads up Inter fans, one day you’ll get your moment in the sun…

  1. “Turin sports newspaper Tuttosport put Bale’s photograph on its front page under the headline ‘Frightening Bale, he sweeps away Inter'”. Excellent….

  2. Phil Thompson of the Italian mob. What a cnut.

And yes they wear swearing all over the place.

When he was saying Die die die – this means stop stop stop Gareth

    Katzo this katzo that…

    • He was not saying Die…. he was saying Dai… a far cry from your meaning… it actualy means ‘Come on’…

      Dai ragazzi….means…come on guys…

You DID see a private channel that was pro-Inter!

      COME ON YOU SPURS!!!!!

  3. As a Spurs and Juventus fan, I think it is only right and fair to say that the particular commentator is an Internazionale fanatic.

Anything that Inter do cannot be wrong. You should have seen him last weekend against Chievo, when Inter lost again!

To be fair, all non-biased commentators heaped praise not only on Bale, but on the whole squad. As a very fluent Italian reader and speaker, I was pleasantly surprised.

Something you might NOT know…most Juventus (Italy) fans, follow Spurs. No, I cannot understand or explain it either. Even here in Malta, most Juve fans are die-hard Spurs fans… go figure…

  4. Another thing…. that video was NOT shown on air. It was an OFF AIR feed… it say so… FUORI ONDA (Fuori = off , and ONDA = wave…ie air-waves.)

And the only swear word (signalled out) was Vaffanculo… which literally means ‘up yours’…
