With so little happening in terms of football at the moment, it does offer time to have a quick scan of some of the names being linked with a move to Tottenham in the summer.
The lack of a current transfer window hasn’t stopped the media from speculating about old names such as Charlie Adam and Connor Wickham, alongside some interesting new candidates.
Micah Richards is a name that features regularly at the moment and it’s believed that Mancini wants to bring in a bigger name to replace him. Still only 22, Richards could be available for around £15m, but would City want to sell him to us anyway? Birmingham’s Roger Johnson is another defender linked with a move.
Striking possibilities continue to be linked and all the usual suspects such as Hulk, Huntelaar and Rossi have been mentioned.
Adriano also appears again, but a lot of talk has switched to Barcelona’s Bojan. At just 20 he is finding his chances limited at Barca and is rumoured to want out. He averages around a goal every three games in his professional career and has attracted the attention of many clubs across Europe.
As always it’s only speculation and the summer is still some way off, but it’s always interesting to see just who is being linked with the club.
