While there is more speculation today over an approach for Sandro – this time from Villareal – the player himself is ignoring it and looking forward to next season.
Speaking in this month’s Hotspur, Sandro said,
“I believe I am well adapted for the characteristics of the English game because football here is for a tough and strong type of person.
“I think I have done well so far and can only improve with time.”
Turning to the prospects for the team as a whole, the Brazilan is certain that the squad is capable of much greater things,
“We showed our quality by producing great performances in big games,” he added.
“We have proved that we can live with the best and the talent in the squad is definitely good enough to fight for the title.”
For now, Spurs fans will hope that all the speculation dies down and that our ‘find’ from last season is correct with his predictions.
Why do the media constantly link our top players with other clubs, am i the only one who finds it annoying to say the least, and to link Sandro with a move to Villareal, (who the fuck are they) ????? is just a joke
This guy is the real deal. Could be the best box to box midfielder in the premiership real soon. Just hope he’s still with us.
