Full team news will follow of course but reports suggest that Scott Parker will be available for Sunday’s clash with Aston Villa after making good progress from his ankle injury.

In Scott’s absence however, Sandro has stepped in and has been back to his brilliant Brazilian best so Scott may conceivably have to wait in the unfamiliar territory of the subs bench.

Further news claims that Kyle Walker broke a toe in Wednesday’s win over Bolton but will play after a pain killing injection. Walker’s absence would have been more of a concern with little or no cover at right back.

It all points to an unchanged side for Sunday but we’ll wait further news from the club before looking at the side in more depth.

  1. Before anyone comments on this, make your mind up about what you were saying a week ago about rotation.

Should Harry have been rotating all season long or playing strongest every week?

    Parker or Sandro?

  2. Right inbetween Defoe and Dos Santos on the bench, i want Sandro to keep playing but also would like Parker to be fresh for the Euro’s as to not get injured for next season.

  3. I thought Livermore played really well at right back if we need any cover there. Don’t drop Dandr…he’s too good at present

  4. I agree about Danny would shift Gallas to left back king and kaboul in the centre he has played lb for Arse and Chelsea

  5. Surey he cant drop Sandro after the way he played in the last couple of games. In an ideal world i would start with Sandro and bring Parker on for RVV or Lennon once we are are 2-0 up.

  6. Same as before Harry. Why change a winning team. If Sandro has a mare then we have a decent backup in Parker.
Would be very dissappointed to see Parker start, not that he’s a bad player but he’s just come back from injury. I fear ‘arry might go with his trusted 4-3-3 though and drop Lennon.

  7. ‘Arry should have been rotating the team all season. Because he didn’t, Parkers performances were gradually dropping off. Put him on the bench and keep Sandro (the beast) playing for the rest of the season. Rotation MUST start next season, If it doesn’t, bye bye ‘Arry.

  8. Parker is a professional, but I wouldn’t take him right now at this juncture. Fulham is going to abuse us in the middle if Sandro is not there, that said… Maybe we should upgrade the position all together and stop filling the position with stop gape solutions. Parker was a good squad pick up, but he is not the future there, and Sandro is maddeningly inconsistent in a full season’s campaign. You would think that a holding midfielder is NOT the most difficult position to fill. M’vila poach from under Arsenal’s own nose would be a dream. Alas, I do not think we have the ambition to spend that money.
