There have been lots of stories over the last 24 hours with regards to Gareth Bale and some sections of the media have even suggested that a fee in the region of £40m has been agreed between Barcelona and Spurs.
Spanish newspaper Marca has sparked the stories suggesting that the Welshman will sign in the summer, irrespective of whether Spurs make the Champions League or not at the end of the campaign.
Speaking in response to the story however, Harry Redknapp insists that no such agreement is in place.
“I don’t know anything about the story,” Harry said.
“I wouldn’t think there is the slightest bit of truth in that. Not a chance, I wouldn’t have thought.”
Gareth could find himself slotting in at his old left back position on Sunday but with the suggestion from Marca being the strongest yet that there is a move in the offing, could it be his last game for the club?
